1. Who we are

  • ZHARAA (zharaa.com) sells women's clothing online. Our store is powered by Shopify.
  • By using our website, you agree to this policy.
  • We handle your data as required by Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details: name, phone, email, billing and shipping address.
  • Order and account details: items you view, buy, return or exchange, and login details if you create an account.
  • Device and usage details: IP address, browser, and how you use our website.
  • Your messages to us on WhatsApp or email.
  • Payment details: for online payments, you enter these on the payment gateway's secure page. We do not see or store your full card or UPI details (see Section 5).

3. How we use it

  • To process orders, delivery, returns, exchanges and support.
  • To send order and delivery updates.
  • To improve our website.
  • To show you our ads on Facebook, Instagram and Google [confirm Google]. You can opt out (see Sections 6 and 7).
  • To send offers by email, SMS or WhatsApp, only with your permission.
  • To prevent fraud and follow the law.

4. We do not sell your data

  • We never sell your personal information.
  • We share it only with partners who help run our store: Shopify, payment gateways, delivery partners, and marketing and analytics partners. We also share it if the law requires.

5. Payments

  • Online payments are processed by secure gateways, Razorpay and PayU, which follow PCI-DSS standards.
  • We do not store your card or UPI details. For Cash on Delivery, we collect no payment details.
  • Each gateway has its own privacy policy, which we recommend you read.

6. Cookies

  • Cookies keep your cart working, help us understand how the website is used, and help show relevant ads.
  • We and our advertising partners (such as Meta and Google) may use cookies and tools like Meta Pixel to show you relevant ads.
  • You can block cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work then.
  • To opt out of personalised ads, use the Ad Settings in your Facebook, Instagram or Google account.

7. Your rights

  • Show: ask what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct: ask us to fix anything wrong or outdated.
  • Delete: ask us to delete your data. We may keep order and tax records where the law requires.
  • Copy: ask for a copy of your data.
  • Stop marketing: opt out of offers and personalised ads anytime.

8. Security and storage

  • Our website uses SSL encryption, and online payments go through PCI-DSS compliant gateways.
  • We take reasonable steps to protect your data from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No website is 100% secure, so please do not share passwords or sensitive details over chat or email.
  • If a data breach affects you, we will inform you as required by law.
  • We keep your data only as long as needed to serve you or follow the law [confirm period with your CA].
  • Our website is not for children under 18.
  • Links to other sites (like Instagram or YouTube) follow their own privacy policies. Our service providers may process data outside India.
  • We may update this policy. The latest version, with its date, is always on this page.
